During the test, small blood samples are taken at various exercise intensities to measure lactate levels, which naturally rise as effort increases.
By identifying your personal lactate threshold, the point at which lactate begins to accumulate faster than your body can clear it, you gain a deeper understanding of your aerobic and anaerobic capacities. This knowledge allows you to tailor training and pacing strategies for maximum results.
The test takes roughly an hour and uses dual chest heart rate monitors along with state of the art Lactate Pro 2 equipment. It is available to anyone for $55, with special discounts for our athletes.
